The article addresses the basic elements of Thomas Aquinas’s thought on beauty by analyzing some selected texts and points out debates that still exist regarding interpretation position various issues, such as question transcendentality beautiful. fundamental aim is to recover intuitions for contemporary aesthetics, which no longer makes use many intellectual categories were in common medieval philosophy, show how ideas are closer aesthetic authors than modern with aesthetics was forged.
